If you want, you can rewrite the code in Yahoo.extend or a portion of it each time you want to chain constructors and/or prototypes. This would be the traditional way. The Yahoo.extend function just saves you time and bandwidth and it also makes it self-documenting that you are extending a particular object.</description>
