Screencast: Aptana Founder Paul Colton Demos YUI Support in the Aptana IDE

Paul and Ingo of AptanaAptana founder Paul Colton and CTO Ingo Muschenetz dropped by Yahoo yesterday for lunch and to talk about the Aptana IDE (which also functions as an Eclipse plugin. We asked Paul to sit down and give us a quick tour of Aptana, which was one of the first IDEs to feature rich code-completion and documentation integration for the YUI Library. We recorded this short (7 min.) webcast featuringing the highlights of the interface and its YUI support.

  2. Been usng Aptana w/YUI for 2 mnths now, I find it to be good time saver. Big improvement over vim/visual studio/others. Debugger been big help Am looking forward to full support/docs with Yahoo 0.12 lib. Tx to Paul and team, keep up the good work.

    We’ve just added the YUI .12 library into Aptana. If you download Aptana and upgrade to the “next” version, it includes YUI .12 and associated docs.
