We intend to maintain compatibility with the roots of our project, in order to provide lower barriers to entry for the 3rd party folks and ex-Mambo/Joomla users. At the same time, we're also looking into possibilities to enhance the extension mechanism of Mia. All the extensions that you love and use with Mambo 4.6.x and Joomla! 1.0.x are compatible with MiaCMS 4.6.x .

We intend to maintain compatibility with the roots of our project, in order to provide lower barriers to entry for the 3rd party folks and ex-Mambo/Joomla users. At the same time, we’re also looking into possibilities to enhance the extension mechanism of Mia.
